Humboldt County is located on the northcoast of California approximately
100 miles south of the Oregon border. It's known as the land of six rivers,
as six major rivers flow through the county on their way to the Pacific
Ocean. Some of the tallest trees in the world, the Coastal Redwoods (Sequoia
Semperviren), are nestled in the surrounding forests. Beaches, trees, rivers
and the Pacific Ocean make Humboldt County the outdoor enthusiasts paradise.
